I went to Sea World today with my coworker! I've only been in warm weather, and man, it's so different! They had everything decorated with Christmas lights and fake snow. All of the shows are Christmas themed, with a cute message. Best of all, I wasn't feeling like I had a touch of heat exhaustion. The only thing I really missed was being able to sit front row at Shamu for my fifty-two degree shower.

I might be going back next week with the boys from editing! =)

My nephew laughed for the first time tonight! He just kept laughing and laughing! Babies aren't even supposed to smile until four weeks old, so this is very exciting! He's just the cutest little bugger ever!

I spent about eight hours at editing yesterday! I got an entire scene done, which is kind of a big deal. It would normally take about three days with four people working on it to get it done. I think the reason it went so fast is because I was able to key everything, without being forced to rotoscope. I wish this were a paying gig, because it really is an enjoyable thing for me.

Every year this couple and their mentally disabled son come to stay at our hotel for two and a half months. For the last two years Mr. was starting to get extremely ill. Last year he had to go to Dialysis three times a week, and yet, he never once complained. This couple would come down to the front desk multiple times a day just to chat. I had an inside joke with Mrs. She would call me her granddaughter, because we found out that she's sixty years older than I. In May we received the tragic news that Mr. had passed away. It hit everyone at the hotel. I went home that night and I cried for Mrs. We weren't sure if she would be up for the trip with just her and her son, but we reserved her room just in case. This year she's flying down instead of driving. She's so much more than a guest. She's a friend. She's family. I never expected to become so attached to a "customer". We don't offer an airport shuttle, but that's not going to stop my manager from picking her up personally. Because we know it'll be an extremely hard year for Mrs., we bought her a little 24in. Christmas tree that's already set up in her room. I hope it brings her a little joy. I'm going to try to make her something really special for Christmas. I just want her to know that she's loved.

The Number 12 Looks Like You announced to the world that they are breaking up. I love their music, and I think it's amazing, but nothing could ever compare to their personalities. There's not a bad thing I could say about those boys. I will definitely miss hanging out with them at/after shows. I'm afraid I won't get to see them again, and that's a shame. Hopefully I'll be able to keep in touch with them.

We had our work Christmas party tonight! It was a lot of fun. I love how we're "not supposed to drink". We stored the liquor in room 126, and went back and forth. It was really obvious when we were all leaving with bottles in our hands at the end of the night. =)

I also won two free tickets to Sea World in 2010!! I'm so excited!

I got a lot of my Christmas presents for people today! Yay! I really do need to wrap them before people find their way into my room. =\
